I fly on the 11th March so I called today to find out what is happening. Apparently nothing and they can’t tell me how long it will take to process. They suggested as I’m flying next week I could try a lost passport in person appointment. But the only ones available in England are in Liverpool on Thursday. And it is just to far to drive and another £144. Any appointment after that and there is no guarantee it will come back in time.
So I’m stuck and guess I just have to leave the family reunion up to fate!
