Is this the number of working days, or calendar days please? I’m waiting to receive my adult renewal passport that I did through the post office digital check and send service but haven’t heard anything back. I’m getting very concerned. It will have gone to the Durham passport office. Does anyone have any advice or information please? Thanks

Hi Andi, When did you do this application ?

I have included my time line from the passport office website, that shows what happened and when.

      Application history
      StatusDate
      Application approved 9:25am on 18 May 2022
      Documents received 10:35am on 15 May 2022
      Application received 2:42pm on 30 April 2022
      Application submitted 2:41pm on 30 April 2022

Did you get a text or email with your reference number on ?

I heard nothing for two weeks post completing the application with my local post office

      Hope this helps
      Josh

It took 13 days for Passport office to confirm receipt of my passport, despite me sending it via RM next day special delivery. RM tell me HMPO are not signing for ‘signed-for’ deliveries because of the sheer volume (truckloads) being delivered so my RM tracking wasn’t updated. Emails from HMPO advising me to send my “sent” passport did say to ignore the email if it had been sent in the past 3 weeks. 3 days after confirmation of receipt I received confirmation of it having been approved. Not sure what the timescale is from now. I hope this help reassure you.
