No. We cannot see or track individual HM Passport Office applications. Our averages come from travellers who voluntarily submit their own waiting times after receiving a passport.
No. We cannot influence processing times or contact HM Passport Office for you. If you need urgent travel help, use the official GOV.UK guidance for Fast Track or Premium services.
No. Passport Waiting Time is an independent website with no link to His Majesty’s Passport Office (HMPO). We cannot answer questions about your individual application.
We crowd-source timelines from people who have received their passports. Waiting times are measured in calendar days, including weekends, from the day an application is submitted to the day the passport is received.

We aim to reply to genuine enquiries as soon as we can. Partnership, media and data questions are welcome. Please allow a little time during busy travel periods.
