How to book an appointment

  1. Check you are eligible for Premium or Fast Track on GOV.UK.
  2. Start or continue your passport application online.
  3. Select an appointment or collection time at an available office.
  4. Attend with the documents listed in your confirmation.

For eligible adult renewals. The passport is normally ready to collect about four hours after the appointment. Earliest slots are ordinarily two days after applying.

One-week Fast Track

Covers a wider set of applications, including many child and replacement cases. Delivery is normally by courier about a week after the appointment. First adult passports cannot use Fast Track.

The national Passport Adviceline is 0300 222 0000. It is not a direct telephone number for an individual office.
