My daughter turned 16 in January and her passport ran out about a week ago. We applied for a new passport about 5 weeks ago. Would this be an adult renewal or a new adult passport?

If your daughter is 16 she will be issued a New Adult Passport, it would not be an Adult renewal as she would have not had an Adult passport before.
Still no updates for my daughters first passport.
