My application has been sent to Peterbourgh office. I cant understand how they are prioritising these applications, when you see people who applied after you and received their passport already. We fly on the 18th July and I am getting super stressed. Today I received my second email apologising for the delay.

When did you post yours?
I posted it last Friday, it's driving me mad as the passport isn't even in the queue properly yet.
Can you track it from post office?
I popped into the post office this morning and no they can't help me.
I called the passport office and they've said they arrive in batches so they don't sign each individual envelope and it's currently taking 14 working days to upload it onto the system. I just have to hope it's there and being processed. I've got 5 weeks otherwise our trip will have to be cancelled.
Finally 2 x children’s renewals have been approved. Submitted 5th May approved 26th June. Total of 7 weeks 3 days! Now just need to receive them. (Peterborough)

Nope nothing yet, starting to wonder if it's lost in the post.
My friends daughter first passport was approved yesterday so I'm assuming they are working more than 5 days per week. Hopefully they will get through the backlog
