Documents

Does anyone know if we can collect our documents from the passport office when collecting a new passport? I used my passport as documentation for my daughters passport and I'm worried if we fast track her passport we still won't receive mine back before our flight in 3 weeks. I'm particularly worried because my documents went to Liverpool and we live in London so will need to travel to get these. Thank you for any suggestions.
