Application no longer says being processed

I applied for mine and daughter's passports at the beginning of May. Mine went a day later because of an unacceptable photo, my old one went to Newport and my daughter's to Belfast. Mine came back in 2 weeks but hers said 'being processed' from 10th May. I had a call back today and was told can't do anything but can apply to see if eligible for fast track from Monday - but now hers no longer says being processed and there is a note to say not to ring before 10 weeks. I am in a serious health situation and our holiday is booked for 2nd July. I have writeen to the Belfast office does anyone know if that is likely to be any help? It seems a bit odd that as soon as I get a call back it is no longer being processed.
