Hiya worriedgroom22 I called the normal HMPO number and I asked them to put in a call back to the processing team for me, I called on Friday and she advised 48 hours so I called again today and she said unfortunately she will need to put in another call back and I'll have to wait 72 hours but a few hours later I got a call from them! So im not sure which call actually got me the call back haha! But the lady at the processing team was alot more helpful than the normal number, she said it doesn't look like anyone's asked me for further documents as of yet but its a good thing it's actually with an examiner so should hopefully hear something soon. I really hope this is the case. But it's definitely worth asking for a call back, you never know! Hope this helps :)
Also worriedgroom22 did you send your passport to Peterbrough and they sent it on to Durham? Or did you have to send additional documents? Not very fair how you have to wait extra weeks even though they had your passport and your application
Ahh okay, I might try that next week!
I'm trying not to get myself into a panick this early on. I also have a wedding to worry about before! haha
Yes, I was advised to send to Peterborough when I submittied my application on the 17th. I only found out today that its currenlty being delt with Durham.
I did think it was strange I got two seperate texts (one on the 28th Feb and 3rd March) saying they had received our documents.
Hoping that you will have good news in a couple of days and that I'm a few weeks behind you!
I've only been asked to send the old passport.
I'm assuming either Peterborough is super busy and is sending excess applications around to different offices, or that being mine is a odd case with it being a damaged passport it needed to be reviewed at their head office??
It's just a guessing game at this point.
Guys anyone got approved 22/3 but still not printed ? What is this :(
oh wow!! I don't know if speaking to the processing team yesterday helped but my application has finally been approved this morning! Relieved is an understatement!! Hopefully all of yours will be the same soon
That’s great news :) , how long after they received documents did you get approved ??
The wait is stressing me out now!! Xx
Yes, we have been approved on 23rd March but no news about it being printed yet.
Is there a different number to call ? I mean to ask about the printing delay ?
Adult passport renewal from Spain
March 10: Online application received
March 10: Old passport sent by recorded delivery
March 15: Old passport delivered according to courier company
March 29: Still nothing....
I have not had my old passport processed or received a documents received update to say they have it in the Durham office. Is this normal two weeks after it allegedly arrived? Could it be lost?

sarahinf maybe it's worth asking for a call back? The lady told me when I called the normal HMPO number when you request a call back you get put through to the team who can see your application in depth and can answer any questions? X
Oh wow today must be my lucky day! I've been so stressed about this passport! However I recieved a text this morning to say it's been approved and I've just received another one to say it's been printed and will be given to TNT soon! Gone from waiting weeks to it all happening in one day. Reading the forums I was preparing to wait a few more weeks! Good luck everyone hope you get answers soon x
Thank you for replying, I’m hoping because we are already with an examiner it will be done quickly after the new documents are put on.
hs99 that's fantastic !! Congrats ! They can actually be quick like this if they want. I had to wait more than 1 month just to get approved 😭

Has anyone had their passport approved on the 24th March and heard anything more about printing or delivery? I rang on Monday and someone told me that they are sure it would have been printed but it was just the Tnt had not picked it up and was pretty certain that I would see it put for delivery today. As I heard nothing, I tried again today, got put through the to the progress team who told me that the person on the phone told me what I wanted to hear. This is very unfair of them and no one seems to take account for giving accurate up to date information, baring in mind that we're are for this service.
My mrs application was approved on 24th and had printed notification 29th. Still waiting for tnt tracking to work.
Can't believe I can finally post this! Thought it was never going to come! My timeline below
Received today 30th March (apart from I was not in so I am collecting from TNT Depot tomorrow)
Passport with TNT 29th March
Passport printed 1:15pm on 29 March 2022
Application approved 8:56am on 29 March 2022
Application being processed 12:30pm on 24 February 2022
Documents received 7:36pm on 23 February 2022
Application received 10:11am on 14 February 2022

I had no correspondence from TNT until today I just put my application number in the tracking yesterday and that worked so that's how I knew it was coming today :) good luck all x
Amazing news hs99!
It's really good it went to approved to getting it delivered in just one day!
Fingers crossed ours is not far behind!
Good luck for the future!
That's great news. I'm getting a little worried that it has just been stuck in approved for 6 days. No notifications of printing or any movement. Fingers crossed we hear something soon
First time overseas passport update. Passport printed on 10th of March 2022. Supporting documents were delivered 31st of March to New Zealand.
My toddle's passport renew was received in 7th March, and it has been in processed state forever. We need the passport back on 5th April....
I think time is running out, any advises on what options are for fast-tracking?
you wont be able to fast track it at this stage. you need to write in a letter to cancel and then they send back documents. but could take 3weeks or more
