Wow. Right at the 10 week mark I submitted an expedited request. Finally got a hold of someone who was very nice and required more documentation. Once I had that dialog going, things finally started to happen. After sending another $49 letter via USPS to them, it finally got approved. Now, waiting on DHL to deliver it. 5 months. My wife's documents for her first British passport (overseas application) were confirmed delivered by DHL on 18 May. Still no update on the portal. However she has not been chased to send her documents. Last email received from the Passport office was on 17 May.

Passport Sent using Digital Post Office Service 11/11/23 Old Passport Sent by post Office 11/11/23 Received at Officer Monday 13th November 07:52 As over today 23/11/2023 Status still showing as Old Passport not received. Numerous calls to ask what's going on but no progress. Useless!!
