Recent UK Passport Applicant Timelines

Completed online form and sent back old passport on Monday - passport office confirmed receipt on Wednesday. Passport approved, printed and dispatced Thursday, delivered Friday. I did not pay for the fast track service - this was the standard service.

Sent documents (old UK passport and photocopy of new Spanish Passport) on 1st May, received by Passport office 6th May, application approved 13th May, printed and dispatched 14th May, received 15th May.

Application submitted on Sunday night, posted my old passport on Monday afternoon, received by PO on Tuesday. Application approved Wednesday morning, new passport printed in the afternoon and received it Thursday morning! Quicker and cheaper than the 1 week service.

10 days from start to finish - even received my old passport the day before my new one arrived ! Excellent!

Adult renewal with name change due to marriage. Quick and easy service

I had to renew for damage passport. A bit stressful for renewal as I had a travel booked already but didn’t notice my passport was damaged just before we go holiday. Thank God it arrived in time

I went to Max Spilemann to submit my form who were great, I’m a frequent flyer so had a 2 week window to apply even though I had 5 years left on my passport due to lack of pages, the tracking from MS showed my passport arrived the next day but my HMPO tracking said it took a week, that’s my only gripe… a great forum to track and see everyone’s different gripes… well done.
