Excellent service. Updated at every stage. Thankful for such a speedy and stress free process

I was asked for birth certificates for both children despite this being their 3rd renewal. There was a 2 week lag in the documents being received and being scanned on to the system. The instructions were not clear which added at least a week to the processing time. It eventually required daily phonecalls and chasing for the passports to be received the day before travel.

Very stressful to send important and very expensive and hard to replace documents such as naturalisation certificates by post. Would be much better if the whole process was done with in person appointments like in my home country where it's done to the police passport local department and it takes a week to collect from the station with no risk of anything getting lost by post.

Astonished at the speed. Applied Saturday evening, posted my old passport on Monday by special delivery, received my new passport on Thursday!

Easy on line application sent express international post with tracking. Wrote name address and PEX on every copied page and paper clipped a note with all details on all original documents and wrote a short note explaining why I was applying from overseas

Following all online instructions was easy….getting together all original required documents took a couple of weeks, including getting someone to authenticate me,.and Luckily for me I kept ( for sentimental purposes) my expired , in 99, British passport but once done and shipped off, all was now a waiting game….personally, I was happy with the process.

Passport office couldn't find old passport which was a little stressful as they had to raise investigation, said delivered on 20th but they had to locate it. Also they said old passport was damaged so I had to send in a letter to explain why (can only suggest damaged in transit). However still all in all 3 week turnaround time which was good, I was on the ball though. What made it less than 5 stars is that they asked me to send a second batch of documents in to explain how I got from the United Kingdom (where I was born) to the United States (where I now live) while being a Canadian citizen and passport holder. That request seemed a bit gratuitous and nosey since I had sent them the original of my long-form birth certificate.

Simple enough, Got daughter to take photo on her phone of myself so saved spending money at a booth. Documents sent off same day to Corby and delivered on the 1st June. Application Accepted on 8th printed on 9th and received today (10th June)
