Really fast timeline. My old passport was sent to the Corby office. Everything was really smooth and within 7 days as my old passport being received, my application was approved

24.07 - Submitted Application 25.07 - Posted Documents (Recorded delivery) 28.07 - Passport Office Received Documents 05.08 - Application Approved 06.08 - Passport Printed 07.08 - Passport Arrived

Slowest part of the process was with Australia Post taking 10 days for the documents to arrive at Corby. Suggest that if you are in a hurry, request priority international post. It is more expensive but may reduce your anxiety if a quicker turnaround is needed. My documents were returned and received 3 days after the passport.

Adult renewal with name change due to marriage. Sent with children's first passport applications and documents recieved on 28th July.

Doccuments didn’t get received until 28th July so could’ve been completed quicker but still very quick!

First time renewing from abroad. The DHL delivery was a day late but all in all very smooth. Paid for a tracked post of my passport from Austria.

They reviewed and approved on 31st July 2026. I have sent documents via first class specifical delivery which helped me to process faster.
