cassdog, go to https://delivery.tnt.com/tracking put in your postcode and your application reference, click Track, it will give you new screen which will give you the TNT reference number, go back to https://delivery.tnt.com/tracking and put your postcode and the new TNT reference number and it will track your passport. Like I said earlier I received no emails/sms. But this screen updated with out for delivery. Apparently they will put it through a letterbox in a door, but not in a postbox on the wall. Luckily my wife was in to receive mine. Hope that makes sense and helps

@BeckyB yeah we fly on Wednesday 18th! I can't believe it. On Wednesday we were told to cancel our holiday and then Thursday a complete flip around. Now I need to rush around and pack like mad haha. Oh gosh yeah, never again! But I won't be having a baby and going on holiday so close together ever again haha.

@marand it was a private number. I do also get calls from a slough number aswell which are part of the call centre calling back.. I will have to pay extra when I get there yes. Goodluck! Did you send them an email as that's why they called me?

It seems (hopefully) that things are speeding up at Peterborough now. The hardest thing is having the passport waiting to be opened once you send it in. It caused me many sleepless nights and stress knowing the passport had been signed for but no updates on the tracker and then messages asking me to resend the old passport! It took two weeks exactly to acknowledge passport received, then the process has been very fast, including them putting my child’s renewal on hold as I needed someone else to confirm identity. I was worried this hold and the fact that the photo was classed as ‘fair’ would slow things down, but passport was approved the next day after a new person confirmed identity and was printed two days later. Once passport arrives I will post timeline. It’s the waiting two weeks for tracker to update that’s the most stressful!

2 weeks is lucky then, really seems us old people have been forgotten about, maybe everyone going down there has stopped them processing ones already in system 😱😤

Hi Has anyone child passport came because i submitted it on 22 march and on may3rd it has been saying Your application is being processed. I have a hoilday in a couple of weeks and cannot afford to cancel. Ispoken to the webchat people and said it will take a couple of weeks even though others was done within days. Icannot afford to upgrade.

ours sons was submitted 12th March with my partners renewal and name change, his came back (after submitting new photo too) month or so ago whereas hers been at processing for last month so 9 weeks total 🙄

Hi. If your application says processing there is a problem with it, ie wrong spelling of surname instigating a change of name proof which happened to mine, sent birth certificate only then was approved. I think they input my surname wrongly on system so it was rejected as different to original passport. Probably not possible to check your original app unless you took pics etc. Even if you put a comma where it should not be it will be rejected and passes to an investigator which can take some time I'm afraid, good luck.

No it just says documents received, nothing about processing. I double checked everything I did, especially with surname as ours isn't a very common one. Thanks for the advice

Plus I'd already sent my daughter's birth certificate as it was a first time application

@Lleach thanks for the info ! I have now sent the email as less than 2 weeks from travelling . Hope I get a call soon ! Let's us know how it goes on Monday :)

S I would call advice line 8am and insist you are put through to progress team for upgrade also email upgrade team with your details with urgent in title. People are not necessarily being charged for upgrade it seems especially if you have been waiting some time. Also email your MP. I did yesterday and they are contacting passport for me. Good luck.

Adult Renewal Just got an text to say my passport is out for delivery today with DHL. Passport printed 5:50pm on 12 May 2022 Application approved 4:30pm on 11 May 2022 Documents received 11:44am on 9 May 2022 (Royal Mail tracking show they received it on the 25th April) Application received 12:44pm on 21 April 2022 Application submitted 12:43pm on 21 April 2022

similar to ours, applied 12th March, processing since 13th April, no reply to emails or urgent call backs, spoke to progress team saturday and said with examiner but don’t believe that lol said would have to pay for upgrade when comes to it too, told her where to go 🤣👌🏻

This was my daughters renewal if it helps as we applied in March as well. @marand I've got it!!! Got to Peterborough passport office this morning at 8.30am and was seen by the guy who called me on Friday. By 11.54 I was in the car getting ready to come home with the passport in My hand!!! Hope you got a call from the upgrade team today!
