Report your old Passport lost first and make a note of the Reference number they give you as this should be added to your application for a new passport to speed things up. If you forget you can add it via webchat.

Photo got approved straight away, make sure it's on the good scale. Longest time was waiting for my application to be approved

Amazingly quick service. But it was a bit nerve wracking when my travel date got moved forward and they said they couldn't tell me how long it would take to withdraw application so I could fast-track. Thanks for the advice on the facebook group I didn't withdraw it and it was processed quickly.

Very easy, the longest wait time was for the verifying of information from a third party. Once they had approved it, they messaged to say it was being printed on the Friday, and I received it on the Saturday

Online application on the 2nd around 10pm. Identify verified the following day. Then it was approved on the 9th, printed and posted on the 10th received on the 11th. Standard not fast track. No documents were posted as it was a lost passport

Verification took the majority of the time

Noticed my passport was missing when my husband was doing his renewal, reported mine lost, submitted online application with photo-me code, referee for my identity sent everything back this was all on 30 March. Husbands done on the same day, his was a renewal so he had to send back expired passport) he received his 8 April and I received mine 9 April, there was also the Easter bank holiday Friday & Monday during this.
