Update from us. As others have suggested, we got an email today saying that my other half’s passport has been printed and is on its way – the next working day after approval. Sounds like we have been very lucky (provided it turns up!!!) Our friends (who we are supposed to be travelling with on 18th July – holiday balance due a week today) who applied maybe a week before us but for a child renewal haven’t been so lucky – theirs is still “processing”. It does just seem to be a total lottery but kids ones are taking a whole lot longer……
