The phone call we have been waiting on has finaly just happened.
Glasgow upgrade team contacted us and have approved our passport. The are sending it to Liverpool so we can pick it up tomorrow.
Thank you all for your good wishes and all your possitive thoughts.
Belive it or not we had just picked up the phone to cancel our holiday when the call came through.
10 Mins later and we would have cancelled
as per my name

Our travel date is the 26th April ( Tuesday)
And belive you me we need a holiday to get over this ordeal

That's brilliant. Good Luck to everyone waiting on passports. Not sure how the government as not put more money into staffing for passport office to support increased demand!
Can I ask how long you waited for the phone call???
We fly in 2 weeks so I’m going to let my partner and kids go either way I’m just praying I get the call and can upgrade in time!
