Hi,
I’m awaiting my first adult passport. My documents have been received and scanned, and my identity has been confirmed.
I just wondered a couple of things:
1) Is it guaranteed that I will be interviewed? I’ve never had a child passport in my name.
2) My documents were scanned and dealt with by Peterborough. If I go there before my flight, will they be able to do the interview themselves and tick this box - then issue a passport?
I’ve got a bit of time until I need to fly, but just thinking ahead to what options I have!

I’m in a similar situation as you, they’ve emailed me about booking an interview (14/06/22) but I haven’t heard date back yet. I was planning on going to the London office as it’s closest (my application was sent to Liverpool), closer towards my flight date. If I get anything back I can update here, but if you find/have any updates or advice, I’d love to know!
I’ll keep you updated! I’m from
Sussex, so Peterborough is a fair trek!
How long was the wait between documents received and your request to book the interview? Thanks
