.... or have I just been fobbed off?
Rang the advice line who were unable to help as they could not trace my daughter's renewal application using the PEX number, DOB or postcode. Application was made on 27th April, documents received 4th May. They said I was listed for an 'urgent' callback before the end of the week. I know others here have been promised a callback too, but has anyone ever had one or were they just fobbing me off? Travel in 3 weeks and need to apply for an ESTA so beyond anxious.

Yes. I requested a call back as I needed my sons application linked to mine as they needed the same documents. I called on a Sunday and got a call back 24 hours later and application approved the day after that. This was back at the beginning of June so I guess it depends on their workload but in my experience I did get a call back.
Thank you, @wanting3. That gives me a "bit" of hope ....
