I have made child renewal application on 15th Feb and it is stuck on "in progress" since 9th March. When calling them they say that they can't speed up and they are waiting for the documents to be dispatched to different office. Does someone have an advise on how to speed up the process?

I submitted my application around the same time. It was in processing from march 15 to april 28. I emailed the upgrade team on april 24 saying I need my passport urgently for buying a house. They never replied back but my application was approved 4 days later. I wonder if that helped. It was Durham office
