How long to deliver? (TNT tracking??)

@Traggles, did you use the fast track service? Wondering if those receiving their passports a couple of days after the ‘printed’ notification are fast tracks? Thanks.

In my case, no fast track - printed on Weds and arrived Thursday for one and printed on Thursday/arriving Saturday for the other, so it's pretty random.

Did you all get tracking details before it arrived. Printed Monday and nothing yet.....

Hi Womble. I got the printed message on Tuesday 22nd at 4am, and it started tracking yesterday evening and delivery is booked for today. I was checking the TNT tracker like a mad woman and saw it on there, I never (and still haven't) received a message or E-mail from TNT. So just keep tracking and hopefully it will show up soon!

I'm still waiting tracking as well! Passport printed Tues 22/3 at 6am and still not showing on TNT (using PEX reference). Less than a week until due to fly now and need to know by Tuesday so can cancel things with 48hr notice for no penalty - going mad!

Hi all I used the post office paper check and send. The refrence number on the form only has 9 digits unlike the online application which has 10 digits. I cant seem to get any tracking info at all on the TNT site does anybody know if it will work with the 9 digit refrence number. The application was aproved 3 days ago.. Recieved a txt sayin your passport will be with you in a few days. But cannot track it at all. thanks

Hi All, mine was an online adult renewal and passport arrived this morning with zero comms from TNT and no update from HMPO to say it had been sent after being printed yesterday. I did get a text and email yesterday advising TNT would be in touch with tracking details once collected but nothing at all from them. Full timeline: Passport Received approx 11am 25th March Passport printed 10:19am on 24 March 2022 Application approved 6:49pm on 17 March 2022 Documents received 1:37pm on 15 March 2022 Application received 7:31pm on 1 March 2022 Application submitted7:31pm on 1 March 2022 Hopefully this helps and anyone waiting hopefully you’ll get your passports soon.

Hi Charlieh34, I was at work but after checking with my better half it was just posted through the door. Normal mail had been delivered earlier so not part of that nor just standard Royal Mail. I have tried to log into TNT tracking using my application number but it doesn't show any tracking at all. I have also tried to check Royal Mail Tracking and can't get any info through that either.

Anyone else waiting for tracking? My sons passport was printed on Wednesday and still can't track, but people who have had their passports printed Thursday or Friday can now track and have their passports out for delivery.

Hi Darren many thanks for the info. Seems they are all sent by TNT courier at least they are just posted through letter box and not signed for I was worried I’d miss them being at work etc. it seems the tracking is very unreliable with TNT. Will wait with fingers crossed hopefully will get next week now. Thanks

Jespop30 yes I’m exactly the same had a txt wed saying I should get passport in few working days. Can’t even track it with TNT either mine was sent to Durham for renewal.

Apparently it's taking up to 5 working days to be picked up from printing, which is rubbish as most people aren't waiting that long for it to be delivered, looks like I will be pulling a sicky, in the week, as we go away a week on Monday.

i'm in the same boat. been waiting 5 working days and nothing in tracking.

A Quick update from me - Mine was 'printed' at 4am on the 22nd and began showing as tracking on the evening of 24th and said it was out for delivery on 25th. It didn't arrive on 25th and changed to 26th. Didn't arrive 26th and now it says out for delivery today. I did ring them and I can see a note on my tracker saying to make sure its delivered today and my phone number for the driver to ring me if there are problems! Keeping everything crossed as we fly on Friday!

Same issue here Childs first passport, got the printed and will be sent on the 23rd March at 09:47. Still no tracking from TNT. Flying Friday!!!!!!!

Thanks fingers crossed, strangely processing times for my sons and daughters passport are very similar, he got his passport the day after the print message was sent out but nada for my daughters, filled a form online to check with TNT and they say nothing showing for my post code.

jespop30 and nb83 seems we are all in the same boat. We must receive tracking shortly.

It seems like there is a delay with passports printed Wednesday. Our sons first passport printed 12pm Wednesday 23rd but no tracking yet. Not sure how timings work as some people seem to receive them 1 or 2 days after printing!

I called the passport office on Friday lady said that the wed passports were still in depot said they could be collected over weekend. Still nothing in tracking for passports printed on wed. Could be just the Durham office has pick up problems.

I can only reflect what I was told about the Liverpool office by the call centre last week - it is taking 5 working days (working, not calendar) from printing to TNT pickup.

Hi, I am due to travel in 4 days, passport apparently sent to TNT on Sunday, I think my only hope if it gets scanned on in the next day or so is if I could collect it from TNT in Durham, has anyone else been able to collect from them ? I have spoken to TNT and asked if collection is possible but all they would say is we can look into it when it is logged on our system .

The TNT website says that if a passport is printed on a Friday it should have tracking available on the following Tuesday. That is 5 days.

So just to update as this has been so helpful and hope it is for others. Printed last Monday (21st) and delivered this morning (28th). Tried to change delivery to Sat as was an option but didn't come which started to really worry me. Seems the 7 day delivery time is spot on. The stress has been huge as it is for my daughter and had to call multiple times. Not sure it should be this stressful. Anyway the most important thing is we have it and good luck to everyone else.
