is it quicker to use the Post Office Digital Application

Does anyone know if the renewal process is accelerated by using the Post Office Digital Passport Renewal? This is where they take your digital photo, process application etc. Rather than doing it direct on the .gov.uk and using your own digital photo (i.e. going to a place that take your photo and generate a code?) https://www.postoffice.co.uk/identity/renew-child-passport-digital Or is there no difference?
