I sent it special delivery and know it arrived 8 days ago but the passport office tracking shows they have nothing.
They never pick up the phone so really not sure what to do. Just wait or apply for another one on the basis of my current passport being "lost" ?

I was told they go to a hub so are inputted whenever. Most took a week to go. Mines was sent next day but they said it didn’t matter. They do bundles at a time
Just to say finally on Oct 1 I moved to "Documents Received". Application was submitted 21 Sep and tracking shows old passport was received 23 Sep.
From what I've read here, it looks like it could be another 3 weeks before getting another update.
