So my application has went from “being processed” back to “identity details received”. I got through on the online chat and the girl was able to tell me that it is a glitch in the system and my application is still progressing. She said it is waiting to be checked. What does this mean? How long is it taking to go from this stage to being printed and sent?

Hi. I have had my application being ‘Examined’ for 7 weeks. The passport office has just contacted myself as a first time applicant to send more pictures !! This is my second application as they failed my first application through the complaints process on my second. Missed on first holiday at my cost. I have no faith in staff knowing what they are doing or providing correct information at anytime. Appalling. Stressed and completely hacked off with the whole process. 10months been fighting
