I have applied for my child’s first passport and it is in processing when I contacted them they told me it was in Liverpool but I originally sent her documents to Glasgow. Does anyone know why it’s gone from one office to another? I do live in the North West.

I have seen people say they are moving them around so that the work load is evenly distributed. I am in the North and applied for 2 passports. One went to Newport, one to Peterborough.
Really? But then I’ve read on here that Liverpool seems to be the worst for delays? I only know it’s there because I emailed and they replied saying we are happy to tell you it is in Liverpool and is waiting to be checked
