I have finally received an email after asking for tracking on my daughters renewal passport,I sent it through Royal Mail check and send, I sent it off on the 23rd March and my email says this… Thank you for your email about your passport application.
I am happy to confirm we received your passport application at our Durham office on 4th April 2022 and it is currently waiting to be checked. … does anyone no if this means it is processing or if it hasn’t got to that stage yet? Were due to be away on the 14th may and I’m starting to worry now.

Not 100% sure on check and send but sounds like their equivalent of "documents received". They don't email you after that until it's approved/sent.
Don't think you'll know for sure without phoning them up or maybe try web chat, they can tell you what stage it is at
Thank you, I’m going to try ringing again, wish I had of done it online now, so worried it’s not going to come back. It’s annoying as I know people who have done there’s since and have had there’s approved already, it just my luck, thank you for your reply.
