HI i've sent off my passport and they rang me really quickly so i stupidly booked the flights for the 8th June. I'm now stuck in processing stage for over 6 weeks.
i did manage to get hold of the passport office and they have said that next week i can ring and ask for an upgrade is that correct? does anyone have any experience of this?
I'm at my wits end now

Not yet. I can ring Friday for travel 3rd June. Progress team will put in a request will then tell you to email upgrade team with copy of your flight details, put date of travel in heading.. Find out which office is dealing with it. Ring general no 8am press option 8 then 3. Ask to be put straight through to progress team
