Asking advice from anyone who has contacted their MP about their application - when did you contact them? Only after the 10 weeks? Or within two weeks of travel?

Catch. Do it now. I sent email last Saturday and replied within an hour. He's been on my case and updating me. Finally got approval. Also try webchat think that helped. See post on damaged passports
