As easy as ordering from Amazon. Submitted application online, sent my old passport next day delivery the following day. Passport office updated at 1700 to say they had received it. Had to wait over the weekend then on the Monday all was approved amd sent to print, received on the Tuesday.

I used the Post Office service, very easy. They take your photo, fill in the online passport renewal application form for you (check this !) and send off your old passport using next day Special Delivery. Email confirmation from HM Passport office arrived immediately and then received regular updates on progress. Took around 9 days. Great service as Passport office website says it takes around 10 weeks.

Extremely easy and very quick. Completed the application but then took a few days to find original passport. It only took 5 working days from the passport office receiving my old passport to delivery of my new passport.

Very quick, impressed with service and regular updates received. I was originally concerned as we had booked a holiday and hadn’t realised son’s passport was out of date until after the booking. Application submitted online as soon as I realised. Following day, I also called Customer Services who were very friendly – as I was going to try and cancel the holiday. Glad it all worked out
