Once you send your documents it takes time for them to update the records to acknowledge they received the documents. There is no email address and one on Google is incorrect. If it takes more than 2 weeks for acknowledgement of the documents or there is an urgent need for a passport you need to call the advice line who are very kind and helpful.

Took a bit longer then I anticipated but due to having to report my expired passport lost them my 1st contersigniture did not meet the criteria but once they recieved second countersigniture it was approved within a few hours , printed the next morning..a Friday and I recieved my passport today on Monday morning. HMPO have been amazingly helpful and very quick at responding.
Overall a great experience.

Really straight forward form to fill in online, super easy to do. My only bit of advice is that the passport office doesn’t start the application process until it receives your old passport, so send it special delivery to get it there the next day if you’re worried about waiting times
