The one (and probably only) time in my life I have been pleasantly surprised and impressed with British bureaucracy! Submitted my application and posted old passport on Monday, was received Tuesday and the process started on Wednesday. Was expecting around 11 days as stated on your website but received a message to say that my passport was being printed on Friday. Then received another message 2 hours later to say that my passport was out for delivery – and actually got it delivered at around 10:30am on Friday morning! Exceptionally pleased as I really thought I was pushing my luck having booked a holiday from early September and risking the standard online renewal service instead of fast track!
