Post tracker showed documents arrived on 13th, but passport office says received on 14th.
Approved 5 days after, then 3 days to be printed and delivered back by DHL.

Had to submit my foreign passport alongside the renewal (a new requirement as did not do at the last renewal). Still not received those documents back a week after passport printing. Also simultaneously applied for first child passport for my baby (including sending documents at the same time) which was approved a further +4 working days later.

Super easy process! We applied online with photos in the online system taken at Timpsons, had our person verifying the photos lined up who did it immediately, and had all the details of the parents passports (both of which are UK citizens, single nationality passport holders, and all live at the same address which probably helped). From there the process only took 10 days with updates the whole way through. As a child renewal, we didn’t need to provide any documents apart from to send back the old passport.

Overall can’t fault process and timeframes. Delay of a week as didn’t realise I would have to send off son’s birth certificate to prove I was his father while renewing a child passport; but it does state on website so my own fault.
