Very impressed. I applied on the Friday evening, sent my old passport on the Sunday afternoon, it was received on the Tuesday morning and then I had my new passport eight days later. Lots of communication from the Passport Office telling me what was happening at each stage.

Very quick! Submitted application on the 15th of July, sent old passport on the 17th and it was received on the 18th. Application approved on the 24th, new passport printed on the 25th and delivered on the 26th!

Discovered expired child’s passport day of travel.Got same day fast track appointment on Thurs 20th at Glasgow. Passport printed on Fri 21and 9 am sat 22nd informed that royal mail would deliver but due to weekend and royal mail not delivering this didn’t happen until the Tuesday . A bit disappointed that passport was ready to go on Friday but we had to wait for the delivery . Couldn’t collect because of child safeguarding and protocols. Had it been a weekday it would have been sent that day and arrived the next. Overall good service though from HMPO. Local Post office staff very helpful. We made it to our holiday only 5 days later than planned.
