Submitted application online on 16th June using a photo generated for a recent visa application in a Photo-Me booth. Old passport was sent immediately using tracked delivery and received on 17th June. New passport was delivered on 25th June – 9 days from application and 8 days from old passport receipt. Comments:
Staff told us (screen shot on the web chat confirming) that we could do an in person interview in the UK without our daughter our application was rejected after my husband flew to Liverpool from Switzerland. Management very very apologetic and asked us to put in a complaint but said there was nothing they could do. Put in a complaint still haven’t received a reference number for the complaint and I sent the complaint on the 22nd of May! when asking web chat they said ‘there is a back log of complaints’.
