Update to yesterdays post, as today I have received a text to confirm approval.
Timeline so far
Application submitted 28 May 2020
Application received 28 May 2020
Documents received 11 June 2020 (posted from Portugal and took 13 days to be delivered, Royal mail delivered to passport office on 10th June)
Application being processed 12 June 2020
Application approved 25 June 2020
So has taken 2 weeks exactly from them logging docs as received to approval. I think this is very acceptable.
Will post again once passport received, but am expecting this to be the next hurdle as delivery companies in Portugal are terrible and say my address doesn’t exist as it is in the countryside, even though it does! UPS are the only company that have ever delivered to my address. Fingers crossed.
