My child’s first passport finally got approved. Just waiting on the other child’s renewal (lost passport). Seems to be stuck on documents received. Was told I could upgrade for a fee of £73 on the 8th of July(2 weeks before we fly) if it hasn’t progressed any more.
I was worried when the status reversed back to identity details received, which it has been stuck at, so called hmpo. The call handler at hmpo said that they have updated the way they track applications now. That’s the 2nd time they have told me that.
