We applied for our sons passport renewal which was received on 14th July his old passport was received on the 19th July. Yesterday we received an email saying we need to send in his birth certificate. This is now going to delay his passport further and we are meant to be travelling on the 8th August. Has anyone else had to send in their child’s birth certificate for a renewal and how long did it all take ?
