About 8 weeks i sent off my passport application to do a simple name change, i have no holiday booked, since then i’ve recieved a letter from the passport office to tell me i need more evidence that i’m not using this name. After seeing all the delays, i changed my mind and decided to cancel my passport application and just forget it, i’ve sent a letter asking for my application to be canceled. called the passport office and i’ve been waiing for few days for a call back.
my question is, does anyone know of any email address, other phone number or just general advice on getting in touch with the passport office to speed up this process? although i’ve got nothing booked we need to travel asap. thanks!
