Length of time after passport is approved and being printed

Apologies if the subject has been brought up before. I have just received a text message saying that my application has been approved and is being printed. What is the current waiting time?

Hi Peter, when did you submit your passport application?

My passport arrived yesterday. I applied online when I was overseas on 24 April. The Passport Office received my old passport on 13 May. If the process kicked-off when the old passport was received, it only took 12 days to receive a new passport.
From approval to receipt at my home only took 2 days. Very commendable – well done.

My wife’s application for her first UK passport was approved on 9 June and printed on 12 June.
