Hi all,
Just wanted to get an idea of other peoples’ experience in our position (does not have to be China).
Our application was submitted via VFS in Beijing on 9th August. Processed on 16th August with payment taken. At the 8 week point earlier this week, it now moved to examination. This moved quicker than I expected.
What are people’s experiences with examination length for first time baby overseas or first time adult?
We are needing our baby’s passport as my company is moving me to New York and we also need to register with the PSB while we are still in China and get her exit visa. Then visit US Embassy to get that one.
I was told by one HMPO staff that there is a separate office in Liverpool dealing with applications from China due to VFS being close during first part of the year because of Covid. Anyone else heard this?
