Hello,
I applied on 24th of April for my newborn daughter’s first passport. Shipped the documents same day and tracking says HMPO Durham received them on 26th April. Took a full month (24th May) for them to mark the documents as received, and no update since then.
Wondering how long I can expect to wait until they actually ship the thing? Have to fly in two weeks for my mother-in-law’s wedding and training for work. It’s not like I could even apply sooner as I applied literally the day we got her birth certificate.
Can’t even expedite it because fuck me for daring to live abroad, no expedited service for us traitors.
Can anyone else share their experiences applying for a first passport from overseas?
