Two applications in one envelope, only one updated as received

Hi

We sent our docs for two passports in one envelope (adult passport for adult renewal and a birth certificate for a child first passport).

The docs were marked as received for the adult passport (on Friday, so there’s now been a full working day between as posting Tuesday morning) but nothing has updated for the child.

I would assume (but don’t know)that all docs in the same envelope should be logged at the same time.

Can anyone confirm whether they know whether both applications should update at the same point if they were in the same envelope?

I tried calling yesterday but didn’t manage to get through on my lunch break, but will need to set more time aside to wait if this is going to be an issue.

I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences, thanks for any replies.
