My son applied for his passport 9 weeks ago. He got a message asking for a new photo around 6 weeks ago which he duly sent. After hearing nothing we tried all of the emails and phone numbers to try and fast track as we are due to travel on 16th July. He went today to Durham (where his application was sent) and was told that his passport isn’t there which means it’s either been printed or in the queue to be printed and there is nothing they can do. Is that it? Does anyone know how he can get his passport before we fly on sat night?
