    Application sent: September 1, 2022
    Passport/Supporting Docs sent: September 2, 2022
Docs Recieved (per Royal Mail): September 5, 2022
Docs Recieved per HMPO: September 6, 2022
Text Confirmation of Document Receipt: September 15, 2022.

What does 20 days mean? 20 from the date they received in their hands, in their system or they acknowledged it in a text message because each one of those is a different day!

Hi Martin, we calculate the average from the date the passport is submitted until the date the passport is received.

After being advised by email from the passport office that we could submit two applicaitions in one envleope that it what we did.

    We are in Brisbane, Australia
2 x child first passports with all supporting documents in three envelopes ( 1 x common documents for both applications and 1 envelope each for the individual forms and documents within the main package).
Strangely we were notified that one application arrived on both 27/07 and 02/08 and the other arrib=ved on 28/07.

We are still waiting for anytihng further to happen. It is now 58 days since 27/08.

A bt disappointed and I hope they have not lost anything or have confused themselves.
