Applied for my passport renewal on 7th May sent my documents on 9th tracking system still says ‘send documents’ called on 20th May and was told that it’s taking approximately 3 weeks just to process all the post they receive.

I sent mine off last Monday afternoon, Royal Mail tracking showed it as signed for at Peterborough Tuesday AM, and today my passport tracking has updated to say documents have been received. I was advised it would be 2-3 weeks as well, but seems quicker in some cases! Finger crossed for you.

I have been waiting since 23 April and I received only a standard acknowledgement on 13 May.. The application was sent via Post Office check and send at the total cost of £106..

I’m unable to track progress of my application made on 23 April as it seems that the system will not accept the number issued by the Post Office check and send???
Extremely stressful.. I’ve had just a basic acknowledgement to say it was received on 13 May and nothing further… So it’s taken 20 days just to text an acknowledgement. Passport was in my single name which I retained on marriage but, as my medical records/Covid cert is in my double barrelled name I’ve had to put my passport in sync. So utterly frustrating especially as I’m trying to visit a sick relative abroad!

I’m trying to track progress of application sent by Post Office check and send (£106) but the site will not accept the barcode number issued by the Post Office!!! ARGGHHH! Totally stressed and frustrated by the whole process

Straight forward child renewal documents received 5th April, been in processing since 13th April.
Multiple attempted phone calls where it just says we can’t take your call, several emails sent no reply to any of them.

Yet some people are applying now and getting there’s back in 3 weeks, absolutely bonkers.

Sent my son’s passport 23 March (it had wrong DOB in it!). Signed for 27 March. Acknowledged 04 April. Processing since 23 April…!

We are booked for July. And I need it for visas.‍

We applied for my daughter’s first adult passport online on 27th April (w/o interview as she already had a passport) and sent her old one off the next day. Got an update on 9th May to say the old one had been received, but nothing since. Then this morning, I had a repeat message to say her docs had been received, which worried me as feels like we might have gone to the back of the queue again. Due to fly on 12th July… really stressful experience as you can’t get through to anyone on at the passport advice line and no one replies to the enquiry form
