Amazing, I went to the post office (06/12) to do the application from there. It took me 20 min. there and it was sent to Durham. My identity was confirmed electronically the same day and the documents arrived the next morning (07/12), it was approved within the hour and sent to print. The update the next day (08/12) said to be already printed and passed to the parcel company. I got a text this morning (09/12) saying that the passport would be delivered today, and it was around 10 am.
In total it took 96 hours.

Passport application and processing went fine but the delivery service (through TNT) was very poor. I received for 5 consecutive days SMS telling me the passport would be delivered on the same day but it never arrived. Eventually, a week later it was finally delivered. Very poor service from TNT.

I was astounded. Nine days included one lost day waiting for Kuwait courier to open after weekend rest day. Documents received Corby address 6 December 7.18 am, approved 8,24 am, printed 11.45 pm.

Passport office info is rubbish all they do is lie !!! My friend sent his the same time as mine ….. same result. I am waiting so as i can book a flight to europe all its done is cost me a fortune as i am unable to book flight and the prices have gone up by equivelent of £300 NOT HAPPY and still dont know when it will be here.
