This was a first adult passport for my son. Overall fairly easy, took photos on phone and they were finally accepted, submitted online Sat 26/11/22, Mon 28/11/22 attempted to take old passport to address, waste of time as even though 15 minutes from my home it was a forwarding address ! Friday 2/12/22 photos rejected. digital photo taken on Sat 3/12/22 in a booth, submitted immediately, approved Mon 5/12 am, passport arrived Tuesday 6/12 (paid for speedy delivery) – amazing !! particularly as I have not used Royal Mail apart from sending old passport via special delivery, well done passport office !
