All the instructions were clear and relatively easy complete. The only complaint I have is the 13 week 1 day wait. My application was stuck on documents received for 10 weeks however once I had my interview my passport was in my hand within 5 days (3 working days).

It was so easy, only took 2 weeks from application to receiving my shiny new passport! I luckily had a child’s passport so with it being a renewal not a first one, it helped in speeding up the process! I’m not even going anywhere for another couple months but wanted to be prepared and not be panicking last minute that I haven’t got it!

This was a renewal passport application for my daughter as her passport expired in June 2022. We submitted it on 21st July 2022, expecting a real delay of up to 10 weeks as stated by Home Office. However, it was approved on 08 August 2022 and we had a message stating that the passport would be delivered on 10th August. As we were away to receive it, we rescheduled the delivery date and received it promptly on 15th August. Overall, a very very pleasant experience.

Notification that tnt had my passport came 6 hours after delivery, but can’t complain too much!
The main issue is the lack of clarity over what is causing delays with some applications. Very happy with mine though.
