Newly naturalised citizen, applied for my passport online on the 2nd. My documents were received on the 4th. Was notified it was approved and being printed on the 12th and it has just arrived via post. The one slight negative is they said they would notify me when with currier but they didn’t but its arrived as a bit of a surprise anyway. I am still awaiting my supporting documents to come back to me which I hope is soon as it has my US passport.

Good experience, I didn’t have an old passport to send off as I misplaced it years ago and have not had a reason to renew before now, and I was worried this may slow down the process. Forced to do onerous postal application x2 from Africa, via DHL (no online application, seriously??)
No communications received from HMPO, ever. No confirmation by email of application receipt & ID #
HMPO could not find the 2x applications, but DHL delivered
HMPO internal phone system not working so customer service could not transfer my call for lost applications to a specialist team
constant phone line cut off; customer service staff clueless until get to specialist team with a different database access (?!?)
