Slight complication to my passport renewal. As a dual national with 2 passports, my surname (Maiden name on foreign document) did not align. As a result, a statement/ supporting documents were requested. A little stressful however, I should have had more faith in the process as it was all processed in less than 6 weeks.

Amazed at how quick it was, I didn’t even pay for any expediting services, right down to posting my old passport second class. Had photos taken at a local place and then had a digital code to submit with the form, which I suspect sped things up.

Very pleased with the processing time and how fast I received my daughter’s passport. However, it took a week longer to get her birth certificate back (they did say it could take two weeks) and that doesn’t make sense to me why.
